Who We Are

As a group of producers, musicians, and music geeks, our group behind Feedback is in search of others like us. It can be especially hard to produce music that is fully representative of your creative vision, especially when there isn’t a platform to bounce ideas off of other producers and musicians in the community.

There is currently a group of student producers called RPM (Rochester Producers & Musicians) which meets biweekly to critically listen and discuss what the members are currently working on. While this is a great resource, biweekly hour-long in-person meetings may not be enough time for everyone to be heard and don't accommodate those who cannot be there in person.

That is why we made Feedback: so producers could find local musicians and artists, and collaborate on works in progress. While there are outlets currently offering a platform to comment on uploaded tracks like Slap.com these are mostly geared towards marketing and promotion of finished work within the producer community. Through our capstone project, we also hope to create a service and platform that allows users to upload their unfinished work and comment on their colleagues' work.
